LINOCUT PRINTMAKING FOR BEGINNERS

In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to design, carve and print a lino block. Working solvent free, you will develop a small body of work and take home one lino block, a collection of prints and the skills to carve and print at home. You are welcome to bring along 1 x image: 10x10cm. There will also be time in class to develop your imagery. All materials included. This workshop is eco-friendly and solvent free.
LINOCUT PRINTMAKING: OCEAN NARRATIVES

In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to design, carve and print a lino block. Working with the theme of 'Ocean Narratives', you are invited to create imagery inspired by the ocean, myths & folklore. You are welcome to design imagery on the day or bring sketches and reference images to class. You will take home a set of tools, two lino blocks and a collection of prints. This workshop is solvent free and eco-aware. All printmaking materials included.
INTRODUCTION TO LINOCUT PRINTMAKING (6WK COURSE)

In this hands-on short course, you will be introduced to a range of relief printmaking techniques. You will learn how to design, carve and print a series of lino block by hand and with a printing press. You will take home a collection of prints and the skills to continue making in your own studio. This workshop is solvent free and eco-aware. All printmaking materials included.
INTRODUCTION TO ETCHING & INTAGLIO PRINTMAKING (6WK COURSE)

In this hands-on course you will learn the fundamentals of etching & intaglio printmaking. This will include drypoint printmaking, hard ground and resist etching techniques on metal and a range of printing processes. You will take home a collection of prints and the skills to etch in your own studio. This course uses eco-aware and safer printmaking processes and materials. All printmaking materials included.
MINDFUL ETCHING: CREATING & PRINTING SUSTAINABLY

Beginner Etching | Suitable for people 16+
Using eco-aware resist etching techniques, you will learn how to design, etch and print an aluminium plate. You are invited to create imagery inspired by the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula or reflect on what the Nature Festival means to you. From this workshop, you will take home a collection of prints and the skills to etch in your own studio. This workshop uses eco-aware and safer printmaking processes and materials. All printmaking materials included.

Beginner Linocut Workshop | This workshop is suitable for people aged 14+
In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to design, carve and print a lino block. Working with the theme of 'Designing Forest Houses', you are invited to think outside the box and create imagery inspired by forest architecture; this could be a cabin, shelter or an imaginary space within the Australian landscape. You are welcome to design imagery on the day or bring sketches and reference images to class. You will take home a set of tools, two lino blocks and a collection of prints. This workshop is solvent free and eco-aware. All printmaking materials included.
